Spring in Charlottesville, 20” X 20”, oil on canvas

Spring in Charlottesville depicts the beautiful forests and hills around Charlottesville, Virginia. Several years ago, I had a chance to visit Charlottesville, Virginia. I walked around downtown, drove out in the country, and ate at some local restaurants. I had never been there before. But it is a beautiful place, with a lot of history and scenic views full of mountains and forests. This painting is available. If you would like more information about my new work, contact me.

Ocean Cottage, 12” X 9”, oil on panel

This ocean cottage looks over the Pacific Ocean in Palos Verdes Estates, California. It is located on the grounds of the La Venta Inn, a historic building in the Spanish colonial style that opened in 1923. The creamy walls and red tile roofs are typical of this charming architecture. This painting is available.

Off the 101 Highway, 10” X 8”, oil on canvas

Driving north on the 101 highway in Sonoma County, California, I looked out the window of the car. The landscape was green from spring rain and the hills were dotted with oak trees. This painting is available.

Handle With Care, 16” X 20”, oil on panel

Flowers are beautiful, full of color and vibrant. They must be handled with care. Remember to also handle yourself with care. Delight in your senses. Smell the flowers, the perfume. Taste the food. See the beauty around you with your eyes. Don’t just rush by the things around you. Take a moment to be present. This painting is available.

“My work is inspired by the beauty and vibrant colors of the natural environment.”
